High Sun Industrial (H.K.) Ltd. was founded in 1995 with one pure and simple principle in mind, “A Commitment to Excellence”. This one basic principle has been the impetus for High Sun’s engineering, innovation, design, quality assurance, and manufacturing of a superior line of products that it is proud to market around the world.
High Sun is a vertically integrated company which allows it to be a very cost competitive factory in personal care products such as electric shavers, hair trimmers and hair dryers as well as in small kitchen appliances such as deep fryers, food slicers, and grills. The fabrication of stainless steel components is another High Sun specialty.
The head office of the company is located in Hong Kong. The associated manufacturing base, Highsun Electrical Industrial (Guangdong) Co. Ltd. is situated in the Panyu City of Guangzhou. The factory, equipped with assembly lines, metal works machinery, coating system, injection molding and tooling facilities, covers approximately 40,000 meters and is home to a work force of over 1,000 people.
High Sun takes pride in the fact that its client list includes some of the best known brand names: Conair, Russell Hobbs, Clatronic, Metro Group, Grundig, Breville and Lidl, to name a few. In order to continue its growth pattern the company has recently entered the North American market and is poised to enter other new developing countries soon.
The company realizes that in order to be a leader in the competitive markets in which it participates, it must invest heavily in new product research and development. High Sun’s R&D team is comprised of twelve engineers and is headed by top management, all of which have extensive experience in small appliance manufacturing and marketing. Mr. Yang Zhengqing, Executive Director of the group, has over 30 years experience in industrial and manufacturing management. Mr. Yang previously worked for a publicly listed electrical appliance manufacturer in Hong Kong.
Mr. Ivan Wong, Managing Director of High Sun Industrial (H.K.) Ltd., graduated from the Birmingham University in U.K. with a master degree in Manufacturing management, and worked for several years with a prominent Hong Kong based appliance manufacturer prior to joining High Sun.
Mr. Yang Gaofeng, Managing Director of High Sun Electrical Industrial (Guangdong) Co. Ltd., graduated from Guangdong Business School of Management with MBA.
Mr. Camel Lok, Sales Director of High Sun Industrial (H.K.) Ltd, graduated with MBA (HKU), has over 15 years experience in sales, marketing, and new product development. He headed the sales and marketing team of one of a well known and stock exchange listed Hong Kong factory prior to joining High Sun.
Mr. Ed Jones, President of High Sun North America, has over 25 years experience in small appliance marketing, sales, and new product development. He has played an important role in the growth of several U.S. small appliance companies through out his career.
